During the first three days of the month (the 1st through the 3rd), the Apache Nugget Casino will hold 5 Hot Seat Drawings for $100 each. The 1st drawing will be held between the hours of 4 and 5pm, the 2nd drawing will occur between the hours of 5-6pm, the third between the hours of 6-7pm, the fourth between the hours of 7-8pm and the 5th and final drawing will occur between the hours of 8-9pm. Grill and Chill Giveaway!
Every Friday and Saturday the Apache Nugget Casino will be giving away BBQ Grill Sets! Two Grill Sets will be given away each of those nights. The drawing times will be at 7:30pm and 11:30pm. To enter Casino Patrons may redeem entry tickets at the Player's Club for 200 points. These tickets will be valid for the life of the giveaway or until it becomes a winner. This giveaway will end on July 14, you do not need to be present to win, we will announce the winner when the ticket is drawn, if winner is not present, then we will post winning name (and corresponding Player's Club card number) in the Player's Club office immediately following the drawing, and will remain posted for (1) week. Pumpkin Carving Contest
PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST
WHEN: On Wednesday, October 25th, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.
WHERE: Contest will be held outside, in front of the Apache Nugget Casino
TO BE ELIGIBLE: Must be 21 or older, free to enter but must fill out entry form and sign media release form.
RULES: Must clean and carve pumpkin using tools provided by ANC, must carve the pumpkin free hand (no personal carving tools, guides allowed). guides or pre-drawn images allowed), may draw image on pumpkin before carving, ANC will provide basic tools (knives, spoons, pencils, towels, wet-ones, trash receptacles) and the pumpkins.
At 3:30 p.m. the pumpkins are to be judged by a secret panel of judges (who won’t know the identity of the contestants). Winners will be announced immediately following the judging. The pumpkins will be judged in the following categories: Scariest, funniest, most original. In each category we will be three (3) places, 3rd place will receive $25, 2nd place will receive $50, and 1st place will receive $100. Winners will be required to leave their pumpkins to be displayed through October 31st. All other contestants will have the option of taking their pumpkin home with them. All contestants will receive a free hot dog, chips and coke, as well as, a goodie-bag.
